Regarding your questions
1. how do i set it to randomly show products from all of the collections? - right now it forces me to choose only 1 collection in admin.
=> Yes right now you have an option in theme settings which allows you to choose a collections. It can not show the random products as you want. You have to choose a collection.
You are able to create a specific collection which will be used for the Notification slider only, you will put the products as you want on that collection.
2. the notifications are not showing on mobile (only on desktop), how to fix this so they show?
=> The notification is not supported on mobile, because the screen size of the mobile device is too small, it would be really annoying for each time the notification pop up, it will cover almost the screensize. If you really want this widget also works on mobile , we will help you make it.

1. i have created a colllection for ALL products which autommatically adds the,. please just confirm that the looking at now popup will be random generated from that collection (it makes not much sense if the same products show in same order each time)
2. i was using an app to do this which did exactly the same thing and they seemed to look fine on mobile. i would need too see it working to make sure with your one, but it does make the store look busy and make people want to buy. now everyonee is using mobile phone more than computer it seems a missed oppurtunity without it. lets do it and make it very small, can u?

2. Did you turn off the application that you have installed for the notification slider. I did not see the app here, it just shows to default notification slider, i also enable the Notification slider on mobile for you, please help me check again

2. Yes i see the looking at now product popping up on mobile, but it is way too large, can it not be made much smaller (I see there is loads of wasted white space and the whole thing could be consolidated and the text also smaller)
- yes i turned off the app i installed because it was silly having that popup and your one popup, also the app was making me choose products manually which was too time consuming
I adjusted the width of the pop up on mobile for you, please help me check again

however it does seem to come very slowely / jerky when it arrives and leaves, im not sure if this is something u changed or my phone is just too slow, how does it look for you?
it seems like its almost getting stuck or struggling and then shows (not smooth). maybe not an issue on others mobiles, if you have a time please check and confirm if its ok? cheers mate

You have the options to set up the delay time and the display time for the pop up, please go to Customize theme > Extensions > NOTIFICATION SLIDER . Now you will see :
Delay time (in miliseconds)
and
Display time (in miliseconds)
Please decrease the Delay time if you want to make the pop up faster. And increase the Display time if you want to see the pop up longer.

hi thomas, I have set the notification so it shows for 8 seconds and then doesnt come for 32 seconds which is fine as its super annoying if its too regular.
But the main issue with the popup notfication is this - when u open the site it pops up within a second or 2. but then in reality when u browse through pages or products in the site, it then pops up in 1 second or so on EVERY time you change to a new page, which is super annoying. it needs a setting to delay the first time it shows
(i tried using the site as if i was a buyer or user and would have shut the site down just because of this issue)
Can u give me control on a delay of it coming (would be really nice if that was a feature in the admin box ) or u can set this manually? If so id say please set it at 12000ms and let me test to see how that is and maybe we adjust , cheers
also, on a side note - its i possible to make the whole thing (text, image and box) smaller when it shows on mobile? i understand that may be difficult if its feeding from the same parameters set for the desktop on, let me know if its possible easily? cheers

2. Layout of the pop up on mobile:
Could you please send me a mock up for the layout of the pop up on mobile as you want. I will check and help you make change.
