Regarding your question. We can not edit the CSS of the checkout page, the style sheet is not included in the folder of the theme, Shopify is managing this page, but if you upgrade your account to Shopify Plus, you will have the access to edit the CSS of the checkout page.

I would like to set the logo on my checkout to be larger than what it already is.
I am comfortable editing HTML/CSS files in the theme.
