I encountered an issue when I added a product with multiple variants/colora that are non standard.
Currently, I can only pick solid colors to be displayed. What I want to do is to have a small thumbnail picture of the actual product. The same way it is displayed on aliexpress.
Because the products that I added do not have a standard color and on aliexpress they had small thumbnail images in the color specs, when I import them the color appears as a blank square. I need that blank square to display the actual image of the product.
If anything is not clear please let me know and I will upload some pictures to better explain what I mean.

Regarding your question, you have an option in theme settings which allows you to choose one or two product images being display.
Please go to Customize theme > Product page > LOOK AND FEEL.
You will see 'Portrait images' is activated. Please deactivate that option and you will see only image.

We do have 2 more things that we want to change, if possible:
1. In the Collection Page we have a Slider with 4 images. Can you make the first picture be the one related with the Collection i'm inside? (example: when I open Tech category, i would like the slide with Tech to be the first one, when I go to the Phone category, first image in slide should be the Phone one.
2. If point 1 isn't doable, I would want the Collection slide to be randomly played, not in the same order every time.

I have uploaded in Assets the file hero.png am have set the color to hero but it still does not appear. The color square stays blank.
