I had set up 2 pages in the theme options to be shown as tabs after product details and changed the tab titles. So the order was DETAILS | DELIVERY | RETURNS.
Everything worked fine until I tried changing the page the returns tab was attached to (marked Discount page in theme options). After saving the changes the 3rd (returns) tab disappeared.
I notice that the pulldown menu retains the correct value but it's not being saved into the theme settings.

You have chosen Returns tab for the Discount page, and the tab does not show, it is because you don't have mount the correct page on the correct tab.
The Discount page only displays when enable the TWEET TO GET DISCOUNT CODE. Please go to Customize theme > Product page > TWEET TO GET DISCOUNT CODE . Now please choose Show . Then you will see the content of the tab. In generally, the Discount page is used for TWEET TO GET DISCOUNT CODE. If you want to use this tab, you have to enable the TWEET TO GET DISCOUNT CODE.

To add more tabs, we have to edit the source code, please let me know if you have experience about coding and liquid code, then we will show you the files that need to edit.

There are at least two files that you must to edit.
- The first: product-tab.liquid (in snippets folder) this is the snippet for the product tab, now you have to copy or duplicate the source code to create more tabs as you want.
- The second: settings_schema.json (in Config folder) you have to edit this file to make the controller for those tabs.
And if you want to edit the title of the tab by the Edit language section, please check this file en.default.json (in Locales folder)
