70% of all online sales take place through mobile devices such as phones and laptops. So it's VERY important my website looks clean and elegant on mobile. However this is not the case with the Material Theme
http://futuretrends.today PASSWORD: futurepass
As you can see by following the above link, my website looks fine in high resolution laptops and TERRIBLE on tablets and phones. Your theme claims to be responsive and elegant on mobile AND desktop, but I am having a terrible experience with making the theme look good on mobile.
Please help, or provide me with a theme that suits my needs.

Thank you so much for keeping in touch with us, much appreciated!
Regarding the issue, it look like that we have a problem with the font size, could you please send me an invitation for staff account via email firstname.lastname@example.org and we are going to check it for you.
Please let me know as soon as the invitation sent.
Have a great day!
Thank you so much!
How am I doing? Let me know by giving me your review and doing the rating for us on Themeforest. Doing that action, you will help us to increase our sales and also help me to increase my income, for each time you give a 5 stars rating, i will get more bonus from the head for my goodjob. ;)
I have done so.
I have tried removing all formatting but the theme does not change to suit mobile screens, therefore a tremendous amount of text is cut off, limiting the amount of text I can use extremely or else it destroys the mobile look. Making the text smaller most likely will not work for mobile as this will make it very hard for users to read.
Excuse me for the delay, we have got so many requests at a time, hope you understand.
Regarding the issue with the Static block, it is because the text on the background image, the height of the Static block is not enough for displaying all text. you are using tag <p> for each sentence and this means that you will have a new row for each sense, and you also some empty rows, it makes the height of the text taller and over the height of the background image. We try removing some sentence to decrease the height of the text, please check my video. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByoEXBTrpkeTT1g5U3lhU1A3R0U/view .
Because you are using many texts , so i suggest please use Photoshop and add text on your background image, and then upload that image on theme settings. By this way we can make sure the text will be scale up/down following the background image.
Please let me know your opinions
Thank you for the video, but this only works on large displays. On mobile devices it still will not display correctly.
I did create a photo with the text built in to scale it automatically, but that is not how the theme is advertised when you purchase it. It claims text auto-scales based off what device you use to visit the website. Having to create a custom image in photoshop every time you want to update the site is cumbersome and very time consuming.
Thank you so much for your feedback, much appreciated!
Does not like the image, the font size is not responsive automatically on website, for every device, we have to setup a font size value, for example the text on slideshow, the font size is 40px on desktop but we also have to set up the font size in 20px on mobile, and 30px on tablet.
It works when you don't use too much text, but when your store has a lot of text, we have a trouble when the text drop to the new line on a narrow screensize, because we can not control when the text being drop to the new line, and also we can not control the line height value, so that it is very difficult to make all text responsive on mobile devices. So that we suggest you to create a photo with the text built in.
Please feel free to let me know if you have questions
I have similar issues, and after spending time and money on customizing how the text behaves on mobile for the slideshow and the lookbook, I give up and just want to disable the slideshow. It looks really silly on mobile as a tiny slide show but then the special offer tiles show up right underneath them in large, normal display.
Please, can someone tell me where to go to simply disable the slideshow on mobile only for the MATERIAL theme? It looks great on desktop.
Could you please send me another invitation for staff account via email email@example.com and we are going to check and disable the slideshow on mobile for you, i tried to log in the theme but no luck, it looks like that you have removed the account that you grant for us.
Please let me know as soon as the new invitation sent
Hello and thank you very much! Roartheme currently has access to Peccadilly.com.
Last login was Monday, August 21, 2017, 11:25pm CDT
Do you mean this is your store : https://peccadilly.myshopify.com/admin/auth/login
I checked our database and saw another store of you https://futuretrends-today.myshopify.com/admin/themes
So i have a little confuse, i will let you know as soon as we finished the job
Hi, confirming my store is Peccadilly.com and we’re on the Material shopify theme. We do not have any other stores. Thanks! Jen
Thank you so much for your confirmation.
I added a short code on the CSS file rt.style.scss.liquid to hide the slideshow image for you on mobile only. Please check from the line 9755 to 9759 to see the code. I made a duplicate theme which is called as RT_Removed_slider 08 27 2017 Fall Scheme and worked on it, please help me check that theme.
I see that it has been removed but now there is an empty space where it was before. Please see attached.
Thomas, I have another issue related to mobile responsiveness. I believe the widget is called featured collections which I currently have right under the slideshow. It is ON on desktop and OFF on mobile. There are two reasons it is off on mobile:
1) it looked very small (just like the slideshow) so I wanted to change it to only show 1 collection full screen at a time and 2) there weren’t any kind of indicators for the customer to know that they have to swipe right or left instead of scrolling down. Are you able to help fix these two issues for mobile so we can turn it back on, on mobile?

Regarding the issues on your theme, wondering if you are hiring a developer to customize the theme for you, i have checked the source code and see some strange files added on the Folder of the theme.
For example this file : https://peccadilly.myshopify.com/admin/themes/193331221?key=assets/custom.scss.liquid , the line 11 is causing the empty space when we remove the slider. If you change the value to zero instead of 197px, the empty space will be removed.
Concerning the issue with the featured collections, i believed the source code had been customized and caused this issue, could you please ask the developer who worked on your theme to check this issue again.
If you want us to check and fix the issue with the featured collections, it will be chargeable because this issue is not a bug of the theme, it is a mistake of the customization job. hope you understand
Have a great day!
